The camera
does not
respond when
I press a
button.
The camera is
off.
Turn on the camera.
The camera is
connected to a
computer.
The camera buttons other than
the Power button do not respond
when the camera is connected to
a computer.
The batteries
are drained.
Replace or recharge the
batteries.
The camera
has stopped
operating.
Remove and reinsert the
batteries. Replace the batteries if
necessary.
The camera
does not take
a picture when
I press the
Shutter button.
You did not
press the
Shutter button
hard enough.
Press the Shutter
button all the
way down.
A long delay
occurs
between the
time I press the
Shutter button
and the
camera takes
a picture.
The camera
needs time to
focus and set
exposure
Press the Shutter button halfway
down to let the camera focus,
then when you press all the way
down, there is much less delay.

The flash is
recharging.
Wait until the yellow viewfinder
light stops blinking before taking
another picture.
The Self-timer
is activated.
Turn the Self-timer off.
The camera is
still saving the
last picture you
took.
Wait a few seconds for the
camera to finish processing the
image, and then press the
Shutter button.
