NOTES:
When shooting, the aperture priority AE becomes
5.6.
Always make white balance adjustment when
attaching a light source to the camera during
shooting.
This mode uses the camera’s macro feature, so
picture quality will differ from that of scanned
images, etc.
Because of lens characteristics, picture quality at
the center of the picture will differ from that
around the edges.
The film holder’s frame may appear in photo-
graphs.
Underexposure can throw off white balance.
If the distance to the light source is changed while
the shutter button is pressed halfway down, the
brightness of the image will change, therefore do
not move the camera or light source once set in
position and ready to shoot.
Brightness will vary according to film, therefore
set exposure to the film before use. (
pg. 37)
It takes 20 seconds for the brightness of the
shooting picture to be stable and afterwards half-
press the Shutter button.
Depending upon the brand of the film or the light
source, the desired white balance is not obtained.
In this case, perform the following procedure.
Adjust white balance of the picture by selecting
“MWB” from “W. BALANCE”, and the picture
may be shot with higher quality.
When shooting in this mode with a fluorescent
light source, the flickering of the fluorescent light
causes a pattern of thin, horizontal stripes to
appear in the image. This does not indicate a
malfunction of the camera.
This mode should only be used with non-
flickering light sources, such as sunlight or
incandescent light.
