Picture is not clear. The lens is dirty. Clean the lens (page 63).

taking picture.
Move so there is at least 2.5
feet (0.8 m) between the
camera and the subject.
Macro mode is active
and subject is too far
away.
Change setting (page 22) or
move closer to subject.
Subject or the camera
moved while the picture
was taken.
Hold the camera steady or
use a tripod while taking the
picture.
Not enough light Turn on the flash or use a

away for the flash to be
