Taking pictures/videos
Using the Burst button
1 Press the Burst button until the desired burst icon is displayed on the LCD.
2 Press the Shutter button halfway to focus and set exposure, then press and
hold it completely down to take the pictures.
The camera stops taking pictures when you release the Shutter button, when the
pictures are taken, or when there is no more storage space.
NOTE: The flash is disabled in Burst modes. During quickview, you can delete all pictures in the burst series.
Burst is unavailable in Portrait, Night Portrait, Night Landscape, Backlight, Fireworks, and Panorama
modes, and when taking pictures in the RAW format.

Capture
Take pictures until there is no more storage space. (Burst rate
varies by mode, picture quality, and picture size. Burst rate
slows down after 10 pictures are in the burst buffer.)
High Speed
Burst L
P, A, S, M Take up to 4 pictures @ approximately 4 fps (frames per
second).(Picture size varies by mode.)
Smart
Capture
Take up to 3 pictures @ approximately 2 fps. (Picture size
varies by mode.)
High Speed
Burst H
P, A, S, M Take up to 4 pictures @ approximately 9 fps. (Picture size
varies by mode.)
High Speed
HD Burst
P, A, S, M Take up to 20 pictures @ approximately 60 fps. (Picture size is
1920 x 1080 pixels.)
Press the Burst button
repeatedly to scroll through burst modes.
The current burst mode appears on the LCD or
EVF.
