Open the battery/card-chamber
door by sliding it in the direction
indicated, then open the door.
When replacing the batteries,
move the lens cover slide to
to turn the camera off.
•You may skip this step when inserting the
batteries for the first time after purchase.
Insert the batteries as indicated
by the +/- diagram on the back of
the battery/card-chamber door.
The Minolta Dimâge 2300 uses four AA-sized alkaline batteries.
•You may also use AA-sized Ni-Cd or Ni-MH batteries.
•When using Ni-Cd or Ni-MH batteries, fully recharge them with a vendor-endorsed
battery charger.
