Switch the mecablitz to TTL mode. If necessary,
deactivate the controller function (only with Metz
TTL Remote Mode) and the secondary reflector.
4. Program auto flash mode
only DCS -V1, -V2, -F828
In the Program Auto Flash Mode the camera auto-
matically controls the aperture, the shutter speed
and the mecablitz in such a manner that optimum
results are achieved with mecablitz flashes in most
shooting situations, also in the fill-in flash mode.
Settings
Camera:
Select the Program AE Mode (camera sym-
bol) or SCN on your camera. Under SCN
you have the choice of TWILIGHT, LANDS-
CAPE or PORTRAIT. Now choose either Auto
Flash or Enforced Flash (see operating
instructions for the given camera).
mecablitz: Set the TTL Flash Mode on the meca-
blitz.
SCA 3602: Move switch ባ to the position GN. The
position of switch ቢ is B.
5. Functions of mecablitz and camera
5.1 Flash readiness indication
When flash readiness has been reached, the flash-
ready indicator on the flash unit lights up and the
flash unit transmits a corresponding signal to the
adapter or camera.
The indicator lamp for flash recycling on the came-
ra goes out. The flash unit will not be triggered if a
picture is shot before the indicator lamp goes out,
with the result that the shot may be underexposed.
