Lighting/blinking of the orange LED
aThe orange LED lights up:
Flash charging is completed.
The flash is ready to fire.
aThe orange LED blinks slowly:
The flash is being charged. The shutter cannot
be released until the LED lights up. Once take
your finger away from the Shutter Release
button, and lightly press the button again. If
the orange LED lights up, the shutter can be
released.
aThe orange LED blinks quickly:
The popped-up flash unit is being pressed down. The flash will not
fire when you release the shutter, even if in the Flash mode.
Do NOT touch the flash unit.
Flash shooting range
The reference distance values are shown below.
With ISO100 film speed
(wide-angle) setting: approx. 0.74 to 4.4m
(telephoto) setting: approx. 0.74 to 2.5m
With ISO400 film speed
(wide-angle) setting: approx. 0.74 to 8.8m
(telephoto) setting: approx. 0.74 to 5.0m
