Manual Pop-up Modes
In P, S, A, M, and self-portrait modes, the flash must be raised man-
ually. The flash will not fire if it is not raised.

Raise the flash.

Choose a flash mode.

Take pictures.
Press the flash pop-up button to raise
the flash.

Press 3 (N) on the multi selector to
display a list of flash modes, then use
the multi selector to highlight the
desired mode and press J to select.
The flash will fire with every shot. To
disable the flash, press it gently down-
ward until it latches.
