Remove
the
NiCd
battery.
If the Speedlight will not be used for a long
time, remove the battery from
it.
If
the
battery leaks, flammable gas may
be
produced inside the battery chamber
which
is
very dangerous. If that happens,
do not use the Speedlight and take it to a
Nikon service center.

storing
the

Store the Speedlight
in
a cool, dry place to prevent mold from growing
on
it.
Do not leave the Speedlight inside
an
enclosed location, such as humid or
wet areas, or places subject to magnetism or chemicals such
as
camphor or
naphthalene (mothballs).

storage

and fire the Speed light several times to

and remove the battery.
