Shooting Features
Features That Cannot Be Used Simultaneously
Some shooting settings cannot be used with other functions.

Flash mode
Continuous (A 37)
When Continuous, BSS, or Multi-shot 16
is selected, the flash cannot be used.
Blink proof (A50)
When Blink proof is set to On, the flash
cannot be used.
Self-timer Smile timer (A 50)
When Smile timer is used for shooting, the
self-timer cannot be used.
Image mode Continuous (A 37)
When Multi-shot 16 is selected, the
Image mode setting is fixed at L (image
size: 2560 × 1920 pixels).
White balance Color options (A 37)
When using Black-and-white, Sepia, or
Cyanotype, the White balance setting is
fixed at Auto.
Continuous Self-timer (A58)
When using the self-timer, Continuous is
fixed at Single.
ISO sensitivity Continuous (A 37)
When Multi-shot 16 is selected, the ISO
sensitivity setting is automatically
specified according to the brightness.
Motion detection
Continuous (A 37)
When Multi-shot 16 is selected, Motion
detection is disabled.
ISO sensitivity (A 37)
When the ISO sensitivity is set to any setting
other than Auto, Motion detection is
disabled.
Blink warning Continuous (A37)
When Continuous, BSS, or Multi-shot 16
is selected, Blink warning is disabled.
Digital zoom Continuous (A 37)
When Multi-shot 16 is selected, digital
zoom cannot be used.
