Recording and Playing Back Movies
Functions Available During Playback
Playback controls are displayed at the top of the monitor.
Press the multi selector J or K to select a control. The
operations described below are available.
Adjusting volume
Rotate the zoom control (A3) during playback.
B Notes About Playing Back Movies
The COOLPIX S6500 is not able to play back movies recorded with another make or model of digital
camera.
Function Icon Description
Rewind A Hold down the k button to rewind the movie.
Advance B Hold down the k button to advance the movie.
Pause E
Press the k button to pause playback. The following operations can be
performed while playback is paused using the controls displayed at the top
in the monitor.
C
Press the k button to rewind the movie one frame. Hold down the
k button for continuous rewinding.
D
Press the k button to advance the movie one frame. Hold down
the k button for continuous advancing.
F Press the k button to resume playback.
I
Press the k button to display the movie edit screen, which allows
you to cut out unwanted portions of a movie and save the desired
portion.
End G Press the k button to return to full-frame playback mode.
