Menus for Other Camera Settings
These settings can be made from the shooting mode top menu or playback mode top menu.
Changing the display language [W]

monitor is selected.

country and/or region where the camera was
purchased.
Using the K/q buttons to turn on the
camera [K/q]

Pressing K turns on the camera
in shooting mode (Slide the lens
barrier down when shooting).
Pressing q turns on the camera
in playback mode.
NO
The camera does not turn on
when K or q is pressed. To
turn on the camera, slide the lens
barrier down.
Saving the shooting mode setting
when the camera is turned off

The shooting mode is saved
when the camera is turned off and
is reactivated the next time the
camera is turned on.

Erasing data completely

Before formatting, check that no important
data is left in the internal memory or card.
Non-Olympus cards and cards that have
been formatted by a computer must be
formatted with this camera before use.

NO Cancels the backup.
It takes some time to back up data. Check
that the battery has suf cient power before
starting the backup, or use an AC adapter.
