How to lock the focus
When shooting a hard-to-focus subject, point the
camera at an object about the same distance
away as the subject. Press the shutter button
halfway. Keeping the shutter button pressed
halfway, recompose your shot. Press the shutter
button fully.
How to turn off the monitor
You can set the monitor to turn on or off when the camera is powered on in
the shooting mode.

The monitor turns off (MONITOR OFF).
● To turn the monitor back on, press to display the top menu and
press to select MONITOR ON.
MONITOR ON is displayed on the top menu when the monitor is set to
off.
