Display the picture you want to protect.

Press the (protect) button.The picture is now protected.
The mark appears on the protected picture.
To cancel protection, press again.
Protecting pictures
It is highly recommended that you protect important pictures to avoid
accidentally erasing them. Protected pictures cannot be erased by the single-
frame/all-frame erase function.
Single-frame erase
This function only erases the picture displayed on the monitor. Erasing further
pictures must be done one-by-one if using this function.

Display the picture you want to erase.

Press the (erase) button.
The ERASE screen is displayed.

Press to select YES.
To cancel erasing, select NO and press .

Press to erase the picture.
The picture is erased and the menu disappears.

In the top menu, select MODE MENU T CARD T CARD SETUP and
press .

Press to select ALL ERASE, then press .

Press to select YES, then press .
The BUSY bar is displayed to show the progress of erasing and all the
pictures are erased.
All-frame erase
This function erases all still pictures and movies on the card.
