3 Press the shutter button halfway down to
focus on the subject.
• When the camera focuses on the subject, the
exposure is locked (shutter speed and aperture
value are displayed), and the AF target mark
changes to green.
• The camera was unable to focus if the AF target
mark flashes red. Try focusing again.

_ The effects of the set shooting mode can be used
when shooting movies. When the set shooting mode
is I:_, 3D, 8CN (Beauty) or MAGIC(Sparkle), shooting
is performed in P mode.
2 Press the _ button again to stop recording.
_ Sound will also be recorded.
During sound recording, onty the digital zoom can be
used (SZ-1O). Torecord a movie with optical zoom,
set [1_](movies) (p. 43) to [Off].
To view images during shooting
Pressing the I_q button enables playback of images. To
return to shooting, either press the [] button or press the
shutter button halfway down.
