Precautions for use
≥ The stand-alone compact pan/tilt head can be rotated
through 190 degrees in the vertical direction and 400
degrees in the horizontal direction.
≥ Operations can be performed at high speeds of up to 90
degrees per second.
≥ Equipment such as a camera and lens with a total weight
of 8 kg can be mounted on the unit.
≥ The camera can also be rotated using the AW-RL400 roll
unit available as an option.
≥ The shooting positions and settings for up to 50 positions
can be registered as preset memory data.
NOTE
≥ The AW-PH400 cannot be controlled from the
AW-RP301, AW-RP305, AW-RP501, AW-RP505,
AW-RP605 or AW-RP605A controller.
≥ In order to protect the environment when the pan/tilt
head is to be discarded at the end of its service life, ask
a specialized contractor to dispose of it properly.

The AW-PH400 uses a manganese dioxide-lithium battery
(CR2032).
Before discarding the pan/tilt head or its printed circuit
boards, be absolutely sure to remove the battery.
Be absolutely sure to dispose of the removed battery in
accordance with the applicable domestic laws and
regulations.
Do not throw out the battery along with the general
household garbage.
For the procedure to remove the battery, refer to the section
on replacing the battery in “Replacing the consumables”
(page 17).
