Note
Measured depth may not be accurate when pressure is applied to front or rear of this unit by
pressing with your hands, etc. In such a case, it is recommended to perform [Depth indicator]
again when you get back to the surface.
The display may differ significantly depending on the weather conditions (atmospheric
pressure, air temperature), or seawater temperature.
For more accurate depth measurements, we recommend that you perform [Depth indicator]
before you dive underwater.
When the unit is wet immediately after coming out of the water, etc., it may not be able to
measure atmospheric pressure accurately. For details, read
About the measured altitude and
atmospheric pressure
(P128).
To prevent water leakage, make sure that there are no foreign objects, such as sand, hair, dust,
etc., clamped and close the side door all the way until it clicks. Also, read
(Important) About
the Waterproof/Dustproof and Anti-shock Performance of the Camera
(P8) before using the
camera.
Dip the camera in fresh water in a shallow container for 10 minutes or less after using it, then
wipe the water off with a soft, dry cloth. (P11)
