• The mechanism does not allow the angle of rotation of the focusing ring and the distance
scale to align while focusing. Always check the focus using the view finder before taking
a picture. This is especially true with manual focus and the Quick-Shift Focus System.
• When focusing with manual focus or the Quick-Shift Focus System, the mechanism
allows the focusing ring to rotate freely after it is set to ∞ (infinity) or the minimum focus
distance.
