300mm f/4ED [IF] SDM is equipped with the tripod mount. To position the camera
vertically or horizontally, loosen the camera position shift lock screw, turn the camera 90° to
the right or left as desired, and tighten the lock screw firmly.
The tripod mount is detachable.
• Attach only to a stable tripod.
• We recommend using a fast shutter speed as large lenses may contribute to camera
shake.
