1 Set the mode dial to C.
2 Press the shutter release button halfway.
When [Focus Method] is set to v, autofocus is
performed.
3 Press the shutter release button fully.
Movie recording starts.
R blinks at the top left of the screen.
When [Focus Method] is set to v, press E to perform
autofocus.
4 Press the shutter release button fully.
Movie recording stops.
You can take images using various effects.
The following effects are available.
1 In standby mode, turn the
quick dial to select the
position 1 to 4.
With the default settings, Brilliant
Color, Unicolor Bold, Vintage
Color, and Antique can be
selected.
2 Shoot.
3 After taking pictures, return the quick dial
to the position 0.
The camera returns to the original settings.

To use effects other than Brilliant Color, Unicolor Bold,
Vintage Color, and Antique, the settings of the quick dial must
be changed. For details on how to change the settings, refer
to the Operating Manual.
