6 Transferring Pictures & Audio Clips to Your Computer
• Before you transfer pictures
IMPORTANT!
Before you transfer your pictures make sure you have installed the software
from the CD.
• Connecting to your computer

1. Plug the labelled end of the USB cable into the socket marked
on your computer.
2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into the port on your camera. The
camera will be powered on automatically.
3. Plug one end of the MIC cable into the MIC Jack on your computer.
This is normally located on your computer sound card. If the port is
not labelled, see your computer user’s guide.
4. Plug the other end of the MIC cable into the port on your camera.
IMPORTANT!
The rst time the camera is connected to a computer via the USB cable, the
computer will detect the new hardware automatically.
