A brief description of the functions of the
remote control buttons is given here.
They perform the same function as the
corresponding controls on your
camcorder. You can use whichever is
more convenient at the time.
Note: An RCA VCR that is set to respond to
the VCR 2 button on the VCR’s remote
control may respond to this remote control
when it is used to operate the camcorder.
1 REW (Rewind) Button
• Press the REW button when the
camcorder’s POWER switch is in the
VCR position to rewind the tape.
• Press and hold the REW button
during playback (camcorder’s
POWER switch in the VCR position)
to visually search the tape in reverse
at a higher speed. Release the REW
button to return to normal playback.
• Press and hold the REW button when
the camcorder’s POWER switch is in
the CAMERA position to visually
search the recorded material in
reverse. When you release the REW
button, the camcorder will stop
playing and prepare to record at that
point on the tape.
2 STOP Button
• Press this button, when the
camcorder’s POWER switch is in the
VCR position to stop playback,
rewinding, or fast forwarding.
•The STOP button has no effect when
the camcorder’s POWER switch is in
the CAMERA position. To stop
recording, press the
PAUSE/RECORD button.
