6 Pro870 Only: Zoom Displays
Repeatedly press the ZOOM MODE
button to select one of the digital
zooming modes. The mode selected
will appear in the viewfinder. This
display will not be recorded on the
tape when it appears in the viewfinder.
Press one of the power zoom buttons
(W or T) to control the size of the
digital zoom ratio.
• Normal operation allows you to
zoom from wide angle to 16 times
zoom.
• Press the ZOOM MODE button to
display ZM: 2. This allows you to
zoom from wide angle to 64 times
zoom.
• Repeatedly press the ZOOM MODE
button to display ZM: 2 (16X9). Use
this to make a recording that is
compatible for playback on a 16 x 9
TV that has expand capabilities.
