Notes on changing the mode settings
•Menu items differs depending on the setting of
the POWER switch to VTR or CAMERA.
•When you let the subject monitor the shot, the
menu display does not appear.

each item
Items for both CAMERA and VTR
modes
COUNTER* <NORMAL/TIME CODE>
•Normally select NORMAL.
•Select TIME CODE to display the RC time code
in order to edit more precisely.
COMMANDER <ON/OFF>
•Select ON when using the supplied Remote
Commander for the camcorder.
•Select OFF when not using the Remote
Commander.
BEEP* <ON/OFF>
•Select ON so that beeps sound when you start/
stop recording, etc.
•Select OFF when you do not want to hear the
beep sound.
REC MODE* <SP/LP>
•Select SP when recording in SP (standard play)
mode.
•Select LP when recording in LP (long play)
mode.
LCD COLOR*
Select this item and change the level of the
indicator by pressing v or V to adjust the color
intensity of the picture.
LCD HUE*
Select this item and change the level of the
indicator by pressing v or V to adjust the hue of
the picture.
* These settings are retained even when the
battery is removed, as long as the vanadium-
lithium battery is charged. As far as the items
without an asterisk are concerned, their settings
return to the default 5 minutes or more after the
battery is removed.

COUNTER* <NORMAL/TIME CODE>
•Normalmente se selecciona NORMAL.
•Seleccione TIME CODE si desea ver el código
de tiempos RC para editar con más precisión.
COMMANDER <ON/OFF>
•Seleccione ON cuando utilice el mando a
distancia de la videocámara.
•Seleccione OFF cuando no utilice el mando a
distancia.
BEEP* <ON/OFF>
•Seleccione ON para que suene un pitido al
iniciar/detener la grabación, etc.
•Seleccione OFF cuando no desee que suene el
pitido.
REC MODE* <SP/LP>
•Seleccione SP cuando grabe en modo SP
(reproducción estándar).
•Seleccione LP cuando grabe en modo LP (larga
duración).
LCD COLOR*
Para ajustar la intensidad de color de la imagen,
seleccione este elemento y cambie el nivel del
indicador pulsando v o V.
LCD HUE*
Para ajustar el matiz de la imagen, seleccione este
elemento y cambie el nivel del indicador
pulsando v o V.
* Estos ajustes se conservan si se extrae la pila,
siempre que la pila de vanadio-litio esté
cargada. Con respecto a los elementos que no
llevan asterisco, recuperan los ajustes por
omisión transcurridos 5 minutos o más después
de retirar la batería.
