Demo Mode
Sets playback of the demonstration movie about the functions of the camcorder.
When the camcorder is connected to a wall outlet (wall socket) and no operation is attempted within a
certain period with the movie recording mode or the Event View mode set, a demonstration movie starts
playing.

[Setup] [ General Settings] [Demo Mode].
2. Select the desired item.
On
The demonstration appears.
HDR-CX190/CX200/CX210: You can set the interval after which a demonstration begins to play
when there has been no operation attempted for the specified period of time.
HDR-PJ200: You can select whether to use the LCD or the projector to display the demonstration
that plays when there has been no operation attempted for a specified period of time.
Off
The demonstration does not appear.
Notes
In the default setting, the demonstration movie is in the Event View. If you delete the demonstration
movie, you cannot recover it (HDR-CX210).
A movie you have recorded will be registered as the demonstration movie if it satisfies all of the
following conditions (HDR-CX210).
The movie is protected.
The movie is the one that was recorded first.
The movie is saved on the internal recording media.
The movie is recorded with high definition image quality (HD).
When you operate your camcorder, the demonstration playback will be suspended. (It appears
again if no operation is attempted for more than the specified period of time you set in [Demo
Mode].)
