from the Camera
— FTP
server setting Menu
When you click FTP server on the Administrator menu,
the FTP server setting menu appears. Use this menu to
set up for the FTP server function which finds a
specified image and audio file stored in the built-in
memory of the camera (about 8 MB) or CF memory
card, or download the still image file from the camera
using the FTP client software of the computer.
FTP server function
To activate the FTP server function, select On and click
OK.
When you do not use the FTP server function, select Off
and click OK.
Built-in memory
It displays the free spaces of the built-in memory you
can write in at present.
A-slot
It displays the free spaces of the CF memory card you
can write in at present.
Selected root directory
Select the memory, which contains the file you want to
download.
Built-in memory: built-in memory of this camera
(approximately 8 MB)
A-slot: CF memory card inserted into the slot in the
front side of the camera
OK/Cancel

31.
Note
Note the followings when you log in the FTP server of
the camera using the FTP client software of the
computer.
The frame rate and the operativity of the monitor
window in the main viewer will degrade.
While recording the image using the Image memory
function, you cannot delete the recording directory.
When the recorded image or audio file is deleted, the
camera counts the free space of the memory again at
logging off.
