4.9 Factory Default
When leaving the factory, most commonly used parameters usually have
their default for the product. These values are all optimal or commonly
used. The predetermined values of primary parameters for the BUSHNELL
TROPHY CAM are shown in table 1 of 3.7.
5 Mounting the BUSHNELL TROPHY CAM
When you want to use the ON mode of the BUSHNELL TROPHY CAM in
the outdoors, for scouting, you must mount the device in a certain place
properly. It is recommended to mount the BUSHNELL TROPHY CAM on
a tree whose diameter is about 6 in. (15cm). To get the optimal picture
quality, the tree can be 16-17 ft. (5 meters) away from the place to be
monitored, and at a height of 5-6.5 ft. (1.5~2 m).
There are two ways to mount the BUSHNELL TROPHY CAM : using a band
shaped strap, or the bottom screw.
Using the strap: To use the strap to x the BUSHNELL TROPHY CAM on a
tree is illustrated in Fig. 17. Take the strap ends and go through the two
back holes of the BUSHNELL TROPHY CAM At the end, tie the buckle the
strap together around the tree.
Using Bottom screw: The camera is equipped with a socket at the bottom
to enable mounting on a tripod or other mounting accessories with 1/4-
20 thread.
