Detecting a Smi|e and Shooting
The camera will shoot, even without pressing the shutter button, when it
detects a smile.
Smile detection:
On/Off
Number of shots, switching
modes (pp. 77, 78)
Choose _.
Choose _ in Steps I - 2 on p. 64, then
touch _£_.
Touch _, then touch _D.
The camera will enter shooting
preparation.
Point the camera at a person.
Each time the camera detects asmile it will
shoot after the lamp lights.
Touching &_, will pause smile detection.
Touch _. to resume smile detection.
Smiles are easier to detect ifthe subject faces the camera, and opens their mouth
enough to show some teeth when smiling.
Touch _L_, then touch _-'_" to choose the number of shots. Touch _ to change
the setting.
