You can shoot an object at aclose distance or even shoot extreme close-ups
of it. The focusing range is approximately 3 - 50 cm (1.2 in. - 1.6 ft.) from the
end of the lens at maximum wide angle (_]).
Choose _.
Touch FUNC.,then drag up or down the
menu on the left to choose _.
Touch _, then touch _ again to complete
the setting.
Once set, _ will appear on the screen.
In macro shooting, try attaching the camera to atripod and shooting in C_ to
prevent the camera from moving and blurring the image (p. 59).
When it is difficult to focus because your shot contains subjects that are both
near and far, you can change the focusing range to focus more reliably on far
away subjects (approx. 3 m (9.8 ft.) or more from the camera) only.
Choose _.
Touch FUNC.,then drag up or down the
menu on the left to choose _.
Touch /_,, then touch A& again to
complete the setting.
Once set, _, will appear on the screen.
