❍ Keep at least 3.3 ft. (1 m) to the subject. At wide-angle, you can focus on a
subject as close as 0.79 in. (2 cm) in CAMERA mode and 2.4 in. (6 cm) in
CARD CAMERA mode.
❍ A zoom indicator appears for 4 seconds. It extends in light blue when the
digital zoom is set to 44×, and extends further in dark blue when set to 220×.
❍ Digital zoom cannot be used in the Night mode and Super Night mode.
❍ In the 16:9 mode, the digital zoom magnification is 40×/200×. It is shown in ( )
in the menu.
❍ Digital zoom cannot be used when the multi-image screen is selected.
