1. Turn the zoom dial.
The display range can be adjusted.
• WIDE-ANGLE (ZOOM-OUT ( )):
To image the object smaller.
• TELESCOPIC (ZOOM-IN ( )):
To image the object larger.
When the wireless remote control is
used, press the [ ] button for WIDE-
ANGLE and the [ ] button for
TELESCOPIC.
2. Leave the dial in the turned
status.
The zoom speed can be changed in 2
steps.
When the wireless remote control is
used, hold down the [ ] button or
the [ ] button, and the zoom speed
will be changed in 2 steps.
Adjusting Zoom
Note:
• The zoom magnification is available up to 16xfor the optical zoom and up to 4xfor the
digital zoom.
• When the digital zoom is in operation, the image quality is degraded.
• Within the digital zoom range, the zoom speed stays constant.
• When the digital zoom is in operation, the screen can be scrolled by using the [ ]
buttons on the wireless remote control.
• When the video is in transmission through the USB cable, the digital zoom speed is slow.
• In the SD mode, the SD image can be zoomed (zoom-in, zoom-out) digitally.
• When the power supply is turned OFF, the zoom settings are reset to the factory settings.
