Pictures taken at an image quality setting of g

have an aspect ratio of 3 : 2, the same as a frame of
35-mm  lm. Pictures taken at other settings have an
aspect ratio of 4 : 3.

Control the camera’s sensitivity to light with M.
Higher values can be used to reduce blur when
lighting is poor; note, however, that mottling
may appear in pictures taken at high sensitivities.
If AUTO is selected, the camera will adjust
sensitivity automatically in response to shooting
conditions.
Settings other than AUTO
are shown by an icon in the
monitor if you use M.
