Sets the communication form used for com-
munication with the external control device,
such as the remote control unit.
SIMPLEX: Only reception of signals from the
external control device takes place.
DUPLEX: Signals are both sent to and received
from the external control device.
Set in accordance with the way the connec-
tion to the external control device, such as the
remote control unit, is made.
• POINT TO POINT: Select this setting when
the external control device is used to control
one single camera.
• MULTIDROP: Select this setting when the
external control device is used to control mul-
tiple cameras.
For setting the camera ID.
Be sure to set the camera ID when
MULTIDROP is selected for the STYLE item.
* Be careful not to duplicate the camera ID.
When the SET button is pressed, the SETUP
MENU screen returns.
