CONNECTION SETTINGS
Select [CONNECTION SETTINGS], then select sub-menus.
DISPLAY ON TV
Displays camcorder’s on-screen
display on a TV screen.
[OFF] : Does not display on TV.
ON : Displays on TV.
VIDEO OUTPUT
Sets the aspect (16:9/4:3) to the
screen of the connected television
when outputting videos from the AV
connector.
4:3 / [16:9]
HDMI OUTPUT
Sets the defi nition of the video output
from the HDMI mini connector.
AUTO 1 : The video is output in 480i, 480p, 1080i or 1080p.
AUTO 2 : The video is output in 480i, 480p or 1080i.
[480p] : The video is output in 480i or 480p.
NOTE
When the camcorder is in the recording mode, the HDMI
mini connector outputs 480i or 480p regardless of the
setting in the following cases:
-
mode is selected.
-
mode is selected and [SELECT ASPECT RATIO] is
set to [4:3].
HDMI CONTROL
Selects whether you use the linked
operations with the TV, when you
connect the TV using the HDMI mini
connector.
OFF : Turns off the linked operations.
[ON] : Turns on the linked operations.
SWITCH TO ANALOG I/O
Switches input and output for the AV
connector of the camcorder.
[OUTPUT] : Switches to output.
INPUT : Switches to input. The
indicator lights up on the
LCD monitor.
