Picture is too dark.
Turn on the flash (see page 9).
Move so there is no more than 25.6 ft (7.8 m) in wide angle and
14.4 ft (4.4 m) in telephoto between the camera and the subject.
Use Fill flash (see page 9) or change your position so light is not
behind the subject.
Increase Exposure Compensation (see page 37).
Camera does not
recognize
SD/SDHC card.
Purchase a certified SD/SDHC card.
Format the card in the camera (see page 34).
Caution: Formatting a card deletes all pictures and videos,
including protected files.
Insert a card into the slot, then push to seat (see page 3).
Camera freezes up
when a card is
inserted or
removed.
Turn the camera off, then back on. Make sure the camera is turned off
before inserting or removing a card.
Try another SD/SDHC card.
Memory card full.
Insert a new card (see page 3), transfer pictures to the computer (see
page 43), or delete pictures (see page 17).
Memory card and
internal memory
full.
Transfer pictures to the computer (see page 43), then format the card
or internal memory (see page 34).
