Unexpected results when flash
set to V(auto with red-eye
reduction).
When taking pictures with V(auto with red-
eye reduction), or when taking pictures with
Night portrait (either in easy auto mode or the
Night portrait scene mode) and the fill flash
with slow sync and red-eye reduction is used,
red-eye reduction may be applied, in rare cases,
to areas not affected by red-eye. Use auto mode
or any scene mode other than Night portrait,
and change the flash mode to any setting other
than V (auto with red-eye reduction) and try
taking picture again.

A ring-shaped belt or rainbow-
colored stripe appears in the
monitor or images.
When shooting with backlighting or when a very
strong light source (such as sunlight) is in the frame,
a ring-shaped belt or rainbow-colored stripe
(ghosting) may occur. Change the position of the
light source, or frame the picture so that the light
source does not enter the frame and try again.
