When Auto Bracketing is On
• The Flash mode is set to .
• Noise reduction has no effect even if this option is set to On.
Exposure Compensation
When Exposure compensation ( 49) and Auto bracketing ( 96) are set simulta-
neously, exposure will be compensated at the sum of both compensation values.
Auto Bracketing
When Auto bracketing is in effect, a (bracketing)
icon is displayed in the monitor.
When WB bracketing is in effect, icons appear
in the monitor.
Saturation Control
Saturation control is used to heighten or reduce the
vividness of colors.
Select from the following three options and press .
Saturation Control
Unless the setting is Normal, the current Saturation
control setting is indicated by an icon in the monitor.
Press Button in (Auto shooting) mode to se-
lect Saturation control ( 81), and then press .

Enhanced
Use for vivid, photo-print effect when taking pic-
tures that will be printed “as is,” without further
modification.
Normal
(default setting)
Best choice in most situations.
Moderate
Use when taking pictures that will later be retouched
on a computer.
