Choosing [Reset] also clears the current file number (c 103) from
memory. Numbering will continue from the lowest number avail-
able. To reset file numbering to “0001,” delete all pictures (c 84)
before selecting [Reset].
All other settings, including [Date] (c 90), [Date counter] (c 95),
[Language] (c 99), [USB] and [Video mode] in the [Interface] menu
(c 99), and [Battery Type] (c 101) remain unaffected.

To ensure that the camera shows the correct
battery level (c 16), choose the type that
matches the batteries currently in use.
