Configuring a Network Profile for a Home Wireless LAN Using
WPS
The network profile for a home wireless LAN can be easily configured if the wireless LAN
access point supports WPS.
WPS supports two configuration methods: Push-Button Configuration (PBC) and
Personal Identification Number (PIN) method.
Configuring a Network Profile Using the PBC Method
1 Choose Network profile from the Wireless
settings option (A 26) in the camera’s setup menu
and press the
k button.
2 Select Push-button WPS and press the k button.
3 Press the WPS button on the access point (wireless
router), then press the k button on the camera.
If the message, Configuration failed. is displayed, begin again
from step 1. If configuration fails repeatedly, configure the
network profile manually (A 28).
