Pictures you have taken do not appear on the monitor.

The date/time is not set. Set the date/time. The clock adjustment is not
factory-preset.

The battery is exhausted. When the battery runs down, the date/time
setting is canceled or becomes inaccurate.
Insert a charged battery and reset the date and
time.

with the battery removed.
If the camera is left for about a day with the
battery removed, the date/time setting is
canceled. Set the date/time again.

The settings are returned to the factory default settings when the camera is turned off.
