Cinema Function
This function is for recording in a cinema-like wide screen.

Set [CAMERA FUNCTIONS] >> [CAMERA SETUP] >>
[CINEMA] >> [ON].
Black bars appear at the top and bottom of the screen.

To Cancel the Cinema Mode
Set [CAMERA FUNCTIONS] >> [CAMERA SETUP] >> [CINEMA]
>> [OFF].

0 Lux Night View Function
Your Movie Camera emits infra-red rays so as to record subjects
that cannot be seen with the naked eye.

Set the [0 LUX ON/OFF] Switch to [ON] to make the
[0LUX] Indication appear.
Built-in Infra-red Beam Emitters

light up. Be careful not to
cover them with your hand during recording.
To cancel the 0 Lux Night View Function
Set the [0 LUX ON/OFF] Switch to [OFF] to turn off the [0LUX]
Indication.

Backlight Compensation Function
This prevents a recording subject from being recorded darker in
backlight. (Backlight is the light that shines from behind a recording
subject.)

Press the [BLC] Button.
The [ª] Indication

appears.
To Resume Normal Recording
Press the [BLC] Button.
When the [BLC] Button is pressed, the entire screen becomes
brighter.
By operating the [VCR/OFF/CAMERA/M-CARD] Switch to [OFF],
the Backlight Compensation Function is cancelled.
