How to recall the [Set-up] menu
Formatting a CF Card
Formatting will delete all the data on the CF card.
• Do not open the CF card cover while the card is being for-
matted.The card may be damaged and become unusable.
• Formatting will delete protected data too.
z Select [Format Card] on the [Set-up] menu.
x Press the four-way controller ( ).
The Format screen will be displayed.
c Select [Format] with the four-way
controller ( ).
v Press the OK button.
Formatting will start.When format-
ting is completed, the camera is
ready to take pictures.
