• Number of Recordable Images and Playback Time
(at 23°C with new batteries)
• The still picture storage capacity is based on measuring conditions in
accordance with CIPA standards and the playback time is based on PENTAX
measuring conditions. Some deviation from the above figures may occur in
actual use depending on shooting conditions.
• Battery Level Indicator
You can check the battery level by the # symbol on the LCD monitor.

• In general, battery performance temporarily deteriorates as the
temperature decreases. When using the camera in a cold
environment, keep it warm by putting it in your pocket or inside your
coat. Battery performance that has deteriorated due to low
temperature will be restored when the battery is returned to room
temperature.
• Due to the characteristics of AA alkaline batteries, camera
performance may deteriorate at low temperatures. Use of other
batteries (such as CR-V3) is recommended when using the camera at
low temperatures.
• Be sure to take spare batteries with you when traveling abroad or to a
cold region, or if you intend to take a lot of pictures.
• You can maximize battery life by turning the LCD monitor off and using
the viewfinder to take pictures.
