WIND CUT
✤ The WIND CUT function works in CAMERA and PLAYER modes.
✤ The WIND CUT function minimizes wind noise or other noise while
recording.
- When the wind cut is on, some low sounds are eliminated along
with the sound of the wind.
1. Set the camcorder to CAMERA mode.
2. Press the MENU button.

The menu list will appear.
3. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight A/V and
press the ENTER button.
4. Select WIND CUT from submenu.
5. This feature toggles ON/OFF each time you
press the ENTER button.
6. To exit, press the MENU button.
Notes
■
The WIND CUT does not operate when an external microphone is
connected to the External MIC in or the optional ZM-EC1
microphone is connected to the Smart Shoe.
■
Make sure WIND CUT is set to off when you want the microphone to
be as sensitive as possible.
■
Use the WIND CUT when recording in windy places such as the beach
or near buildings.

Fonction coupe-vent (WIND CUT)
✤ Cette fonction est disponible en mode caméscope et
magnétoscope.
✤ La fonction coupe-vent réduit le niveau de bruit ambiant pendant le
tournage, et notamment le souffle du vent.
- Lorsque cette fonction est activée, certains bruits faibles sont
supprimés et ne seront plus audibles dans l'enregistrement.
1. Réglez le caméscope sur CAMERA.
2. Appuyez sur la touche MENU.

Le menu des fonctions apparaît.
3. À l'aide de la molette MENU, sélectionnez A/V et
appuyez sur la touche ENTER.
4. Sélectionnez WINDCUT dans le sous-menu qui
s'affiche.
5. Alternez entre ON et OFF pour activer ou désactiver la
fonction en appuyant sur la touche ENTER.
6. Pour sortir du menu, appuyez sur la touche MENU.
Important
■
La fonction WIND CUT n’est pas utilisable lorsqu’un micro externe
est connecté à l’entrée micro externe ou lorsque le micro optionnel
ZM-EC1 est connecté à la griffe.
■
Vérifiez que la fonction WIND CUT est désactivée lorsque vous
voulez maximiser la sensibilité du micro.
■
Utilisez la fonction WIND CUT pour des enregistrements dans des
lieux ventés comme la plage ou à proximité de bâtiments.
