PROGRAM AE
✤ The PROGRAM AE function works in CAMCORDER mode
only.
✤ PROGRAM AE mode allows you to adjust shutter speeds and
apertures to suit different recording conditions.
✤ It gives you creative control over the depth of field.
■ AUTO Mode
- Auto balance between the subject and the background.
- To be used in normal conditions.
- The shutter speed automatically varies from 1/60 to 1/250 per
second, depending on the scene.
■ SPORTS Mode ( )
- For recording people or objects which are moving quickly.
■ PORTRAIT Mode ( )
- For focusing on the background of a subject, when the back-
ground is out of focus.
- PORTRAIT mode is most effective when used outdoors.
- The shutter speed automatically varies from 1/60 to 1/1000 per
second.
■ SPOTLIGHT Mode ( )
- For proper recording when there is only light on the subject and
not the rest of the picture.
■ SAND/SNOW Mode ( )
- For recording when people or objects are darker than the back-
ground because of reflected light from sand or snow.
■ High S. SPEED(High Shutter Speed) Mode ( )
- For recording fast-moving subjects such as players in golf or
tennis games.

PROGRAM AE <EXPOSITION AUTOMATIQUE>
✤ L’option PROGRAM AE <EXPOSITION AUTOMATIQUE> est
disponible uniquement en mode CAMCORDER
<CAMESCOPE>.
✤ Elle vous permet de régler la vitesse d’obturation et le
diaphragme en fonction des différentes scènes à filmer.
✤ Vous pouvez ainsi contrôler la profondeur de champ.
■ Mode AUTO <AUTO>
- Équilibrage automatique entre le sujet et l’arrière-plan.
- À utiliser dans des conditions normales.
- La vitesse d’obturation varie entre 1/60 et 1/250 de seconde,
selon la scène filmée.
■ Mode SPORTS <SPORTS> ( )
- Enregistrement d’une personne ou d’un objet se déplaçant
rapidement.
■ Mode PORTRAIT <PORTRAIT> ( )
- Mise en valeur d’un sujet en avant-plan, l’arrière-plan étant
flou.
- Le mode PORTRAIT <PORTRAIT> est à utiliser de préférence
à l’extérieur.
- La vitesse d’obturation varie entre 1/60 et 1/1000 de seconde.
■ Mode SPOTLIGHT <PROJECTEUR> ( )
- Enregistrement d’un sujet lorsque la lumière est dirigée
uniquement sur le sujet à filmer.
■ MODE SAND/SNOW <SABLE/NEIGE> ( )
- Enregistrement d’une personne ou d’un objet plus sombre que
l’arrière-plan en raison du reflet provoqué par la neige ou le
sable.
■ Mode High S. SPEED (Vitesse d'obturation rapide) ( )
- Enregistrement de sujets effectuant des mouvements très
rapides, par exemple, des joueurs de tennis ou de golf.
