The aspect ratio of the playback is not correct when connecting your
camcorder to the TV.
• Set [TV TYPE] depending on your TV (p. 78).
The image appears distorted on the 4:3 TV.
• This happens when viewing an image recorded in the 16:9 (wide) mode on a 4:3 TV. Set [TV
TYPE] correctly (p. 78) and play back the image. If you view the image on a 4:3 TV, black
bands may appear at the top and bottom of the screen. This is not a malfunction.
Menu items are grayed out.
• You cannot select grayed items in the current recording/playback situation.
• There are some functions you cannot activate simultaneously. The following list shows
examples of unworkable combinations of functions and menu items.
[SUPER NS] cannot be operated.
• Set the NIGHTSHOT switch to ON.
