NightShot Light

Shooting backlit subjects – BACK LIGHT
When you shoot a subject with the light source behind the subject or a subject with a
light background, use the backlight function.
Press BACK LIGHT in CAMERA or MEMORY (DCR-TRV330/TRV530 only) mode.
The . indicator appears on the screen.
To cancel, press BACK LIGHT again.
If you press EXPOSURE when shooting backlit subjects
The backlight function will be canceled.
Shooting in the dark – NightShot/Super NightShot
The NightShot function enables you to shoot a subject in a dark place. For example, you
can satisfactorily record the environment of nocturnal animals for observation when
you use this function.
While your camcorder is in CAMERA or MEMORY (DCR-TRV330/TRV530 only)
mode, slide NIGHTSHOT to ON.
and “NIGHTSHOT” indicators flash on the screen.
To cancel the NightShot function, slide NIGHTSHOT to OFF.
