Setting Exposure Compensation *
Set flash exposure compensation if the flash exposure of the subject
does not come out as desired. You can set the flash exposure
compensation up to _+2stops in 1/3-stop increments.
ii! Press the <l]_]> button. (4HO)
The Quick Control screen will appear
(p.40).
Select [_].
Press the <_;_> key to select [8_*].
[Flash exposure comp.] will be
displayed at the bottom.
i: Set the flash exposure
compensation amount.
To make the flash exposure brighter,
turn the <_> dial to the right.
(Increased exposure)
To make it darker, turn the <_> dial
to the left. (Decreased exposure)
When you press the shutter button
halfway, the <_> icon wiii appear in
the viewfinder.
After taking the picture, cancel the
flash exposure compensation by
setting it back to 0.
_[_ If [131:Auto Ughting Optimizer] (p.107)is set to any settingother than
[Disable], the image may look bright even ifadecreased exposure
compensationor decreasedflash exposure compensation has beenset.
You can also set flash exposure compensation with [Built-in flash func.
setting] in [t_" Flash control] (p.167).
