Changing the ISO Speed
Automatically adjusts the ISO speed to the Shooting mode
and shooting conditions.

Changing the ISO speed
Lowering the ISO speed results in sharper images, but there may be an
increased chance of subject or image blurring in certain shooting conditions.
Raising the ISO speed results in a faster shutter speed, reducing image blurring
and letting the flash reach greater distances to the subject. The images,
however, will appear coarse.
What if images are still blurry?
If still is not enough to suppress camera shake, the mode (p. 60) allows
ISO speed settings of and .
In mode, set the ISO speed by pressing the m button and selecting
.
Then press the qr buttons or turning the Ê dial to choose an option and press
the m button.
You can also set the ISO speed by pressing the m button and choosing
. Press the qr buttons or turn the Ê dial to choose a setting, then
press the m button again. Press the l button while in the setting
screen to set .
When the camera is set to , you can press the shutter button halfway
to display the automatically set ISO speed.
