Selecting the Image Quality/Size
You can select the still image size from L 1024 x 768 or S 640 x 480 and the still image
quality from Super Fine, Fine and Normal.
1. Open the FUNC. menu and select ( ) the image size/quality icon.
2. Select ( ) the desired image size.
The number on the right indicates the approximate number of images that can be
recorded on the memory card at the current image size/quality setting.
3. If you want to change also the image quality: Press ( ) and select
( ) the desired image quality.
• The number on the right indicates the approximate number of images that can be
recorded on the memory card at the current image size/quality setting.
• You can press ( ) again to go back to select the image size (step 2).
4. Close the menu.
Still images are recorded with JPEG compression.

These figures are approximate. They vary according to the recording condition and the subject.
